| My name is Mackie K. Hartwig, D.C., C.V.C.P, I am a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic, and since 1986, I have practiced in Fresno, California which is in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. I developed Orthopedic Mobilization Technique (OMT) and I am also a Certified VOM Practitioner. I teach courses on how to comprehensively evaluate horses which integrates advanced levels of equine treatment procedures including, but not limited to the horse's systemic and structural balance, equine nutrition, barefoot trimming, saddle fitting and other equine stewardship considerations. I work in conjunction with many noted Equine Veterinarians. My equine services are not intended to be a substitute for Veterinary care or to treat any specific disease, and are only applied with Veterinary approval. My services are not intended to treat disease, but rather are expected to stimulate or release your horse's natural body function, leading to dramatic improvement in performance and behavior, I am also the president and CEO of "Equine Challenge Supplements™" which is a forage specific, highly bioavailable nutritional supplement for horses which is consistent with the guidelines set forth by the National Animal Supplement Council. Dr. Hartwig is a nutritional instructor at the Oregon School Of Natural Hoofcare in Jacksonville, Oregon and also performs natural barefoot trims in the greater Fresno area. Horses are one of God’s most splendid and magnificent animals and are a privilege to work with. Horses do not lie, cheat or steal and are appreciative in the moment. They are not malicious or duplicitous and with kind and just treatment, horses are quite devoted. If this is not enough to thoroughly love horses, they also smell great! |
